Sangria is not something I make often, but today seemed like a good day to make it. It’s hot out and I have company coming over. I’m more of a white wine drinker, so I decided to make a white sangria instead of the more popular red.

All you need for this sangria is some fruit a bottle of white dry wine, a light rum, and some Sprite. I set out to Aldi to pick out some fruit. I  decided on some lemons, strawberries, blueberries, and apples.

Once home I chopped up all the fruit and put it in a nice big pitcher. Next I added the wine and Bacardi. Once you do all that you will refrigerate it for 4 hours. When ready to serve you then add the Sprite. Super easy and very delicious!

Ingredients:2016-07-20 10.08.44.jpg

  • 3 lemons, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cup strawberries, cut up
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 bottles dry white wine
  • 1 cup light rum (Bacardi Limon)
  • 2 cans of Sprite

Directions:

  1. Slice the lemons, apple, and strawberries. Add to the pitcher.
  2. Add the blueberries.
  3. Pour in the wine and rum.
  4. Refrigerate for 4 hours
  5. Add Sprite
  6. Serve over ice. 2016-07-20 12.35.42
