Healthy Fruit Smoothie
I like to start my mornings off with a smoothie most days. Other days I make them for my lunch with protein in it. I’ve found that starting my day off right boosts my energy, especially for that morning workout. If I don’t have one before my workout I like to have a protein smoothie after my workout. If you don’t like protein you can leave it out. You might think spinach in a smoothie is gross, but honestly you can’t tell it’s in there. I also use kale instead of spinach sometimes.
In this smoothie I used frozen fruit. You can use any kind of fruit frozen or fresh. If you use fresh I suggest you add some ice to make your smoothie cold, but if you use frozen there is no need to add the ice. You can use any combination of fruit you like or use a frozen blend like I did here today.
These smoothies taste so good and are loaded with good nutrients for your body! According to MyFitnessPal this smoothie has about 430 calories in it. That seems like a lot, but it’s all food that is good for you and gets your day started right.
